crossing visible in the foreground. This was once a road, and crossed four tracks here - the other two were to the right of the
Metro alignment. The railway subsequently shrank to two tracks before it closed, and later the road itself was also closed
leaving only a pedestrian footpath, which still exists. The railway alignment is visible as far as Golds Hill, where it curves
slightly to the left on the descent towards Wednesbury.
