a new timetable coupling Chase line trains with London services was a predictable shambles, importing southern WCML and
Coventry-corridor delays into the Chase line timetable. Rugeley passengers ended up taking the biggest hit with late-running
northbound trains frequently turned short at Hednesford. The signalbox was donated to the Chasewater Railway, the plan being
to eventually use it at the west end of Chasewater Heaths station.
